LOOKING FOR SUPERSTAR: Well-established Woodland Hills Workers Compensation law firm specializing in representing injured workers seeking an experienced attorney to handle caseload and litigate. MUST have extensive WC experience, with 5+ years; be knowledgeable about WC benefits and law [old and SB899]. Position requires a person who has meticulous work habits; is organized [to an obsession]; and possesses excellent communication and advocacy skills. Spanish-speaking is a plus, though not necessary. Will be responsible for managing a caseload, with extensive interaction with clients, doctors, opposing counsel and claims adjustors. Will be required to learn proprietary case management system; must be computer literate and have exceptional keyboard skills. Must be able to handle demands of a busy law office; be responsible, honest, sensitive to needs of clients and staff, motivated to help injured workers, a team player, outgoing, personable, responsive to time deadlines, results-oriented; be able to delegate work and monitor progress; self-starter; must take initiative. RESPONSIBLE FOR: managing a caseload; doing intakes; orchestrating medical management; coordinating litigation strategies; making appearances at Board; preparing cases for settlement and trial; extensive trial and appellate experience necessary.
