CLAIMS EXAMINER I & CLAIMS EXAMINER II

Southern California Gas Company is looking for a dynamic and customer focused individual to join our Employee Care Services Team to manage Workers Compensation and associated company benefits.

This highly visible position in a self-insured, self-administered setting with a fully integrated approach to benefit management will provide you with an opportunity to positively impact the lives of our employees. Successful candidates will be energetic, a team player, motivated and highly skilled with a self-imposed professional approach. Selected candidate must demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new systems, and procedures and adapt to change.

REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 5 years experience of managing all levels of Workers Compensation claims with in depth knowledge of the California Labor Code and other applicable Regulations and statutes, as well as an understanding of the applicability of Case Law decisions and an ability to quickly analyze and direct the management of your claims to a prompt resolution. A Self Insured Certificate of Competency is required. WCCA required or equivalent experience and WCCP highly desirable. This position offers a comprehensive benefit package.
