Established California Workers’ Compensation Defense firm has an immediate opening for a defense attorney with at least 1+ years of workers’ compensation experience. Ideal candidates must have strong negotiation and litigation skills and ability to work independently.

Additional responsibilities include:

Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner,

Good organization skills,

Multitasking skills,

Must be able to prioritize,

Adhere to company policies and procedure,

Maintain updates and follow up communication via telephone and emails,

Development of positive communication with support staff,

Enter time accurately on a daily basis with appropriate description.

Deposition and knowledge of current Workers’ Compensation Case Law and Labor Code, and experience before the WCAB are a plus.

Qualified candidates must have experience in a fast paced environment, be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and extraordinary attention to detail. We are looking for a highly motivated team player who has a stable work history.

Applicants must be in good standing with the California Bar Association.
