Workers' Compensation Hearing Representative (Applicant Attorney)

Location: California – Remote/Hybrid + WCAB Travel Job

Type: Full-Time | Hourly | $30–$38/hour (DOE)

We’re a dedicated applicant-side workers’ compensation law firm fighting to protect the rights of injured workers throughout California. Our firm values professionalism, compassion, and results. We’re currently looking for a skilled Workers' Compensation Hearing Representative to join our team and represent clients at WCAB (Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board) hearings, MSCs, and trials.

What You’ll Do:

·        Represent injured workers at WCAB hearings, trials, MSCs, and expedited hearings. Must be able to appear in person, when necessary, at all Southern California boards.

·        Review medical records, QME/AME reports, and deposition transcripts to prepare cases.

·        Draft necessary pleadings and settlement documents (Pretrial Conf. Statement, C&Rs, Stips).

·        Zealously negotiate favorable settlements for clients.

·        Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and WCAB judges.

·        Maintain an organized case calendar and track hearing deadlines.

What We’re Looking For:

·        2+ years of experience representing applicants before the WCAB, including at trials.

·        Strong understanding of California workers' compensation law and WCAB procedures.

·        Confident oral advocate with experience negotiating and litigating.

·        Familiar with EAMS and electronic filing.

·        Able to travel to local Southern California WCAB offices as needed.

Compensation:

Hourly Pay: $30.00 – $30.00/hour (commensurate with experience)

Mileage reimbursement for WCAB appearances
