Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or new attorney to gain hands-on experience and training in a high-demand legal field. You’ll work directly with senior attorneys to develop case strategy, attend proceedings, including depositions, and advocate for injured workers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing a caseload of workers' compensation claims from intake through settlement or trial

• Attend depositions, hearings, WCAB conferences and trials to represent and protect the applicant’s rights

• Advocate on behalf of injured workers to ensure fair and timely benefits

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and settlement documents

• Maintain proactive communication with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and insurance adjusters

• Ensure all deadlines and compliance requirements are met

• Participate in firm-sponsored training, case reviews, and strategy sessions

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Member in good standing of the California State Bar (or awaiting Bar results)

• Genuine interest in workers' compensation and representing injured individuals

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and time management abilities
