Established California workers compensation defense firm is looking for an associate attorney located in California. The successful candidate will possess strong negotiation and litigation skills and ability to work independently. Minimum 1 year workers compensation experience is necessary to apply for this position, defense experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner

• Good organizational skills

• Must be able to prioritize

• Adhere to company policies and procedures

• Keep client apprised as to case status, updates, etc, in accordance with client protocols and firm guidelines

• Maintains updates and follows up communication via telephone and emails

• Maintain working knowledge of practices and procedures

• Attendance of client functions

• Be comfortable with technology including paperless system.

Qualified candidate must have experience in a fast paced environment, be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and extraordinary attention to detail.
