REQUIREMENTS:
California Registered Nurse (RN) license
2+ years clinical nursing experience
Workers’ Compensation Field Nurse Case Management experience
Fluent in Spanish is a plus
Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel efficiently
Fast paced
Organized with notes and follow-up
Record your time in the system

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
RN will facilitate and coordinate all aspects of medical care for claimants who have sustained work related injuries. You will interact with injured workers, adjusters, attorneys, physicians, and other healthcare professionals involved. Obtain WSR’s and PR2’s, update employer on WSR, prepare NCM notes detailing care, NCM POA, NOV, LOV, patient progress, etc. Request RFA’s from providers and submit to adjuster and or UR. Detailed note entry in the claims system and thorough documentation of all activities and documents. Follow up on referrals to specialists and STP and facilitate such if primary provider has not done so. Help mitigate medical costs and manage any unnecessary treatment.
